Kate Arneson graduated from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) in May of 2019, with a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.A. in Mathematics. In the last year of her undergraduate studies, Kate completed a semester abroad studying Graphic Design in Copenhagen, Denmark, through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Prior to that, she spent two summers working in mathematical research (one in theoretical research at Michigan State University, and one in applied research at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory - PNNL). With a passion for creative problem-solving, she is interested in exploring the intersections between design and other mediums and disciplines. Kate completed a two-year post-bachelor's research associate position in applied statistics and computational modeling at PNNL in the summer of 2021, and currently is working in graphic design as a marketing assistant at Shelter Architecture and in cancer research as a statistical programmer at Mayo Clinic.
